Frescobaldi Day
Girolamo Frescobaldi, born in Ferrara on 13 September 1583, is considered one of the most important composers of the 17th century, known throughout the world for having revolutionised the history of keyboard music. With our Frescobaldi Day we celebrate his birthday by dedicating a sort of “festival” to him. Anyone can discover his wonderful music simply by entering a church or visiting a museum!
