For the first time in its 30 years history, Ferrara Musica will present a summer series, organised in partnership with the Direzione Regionale dei Musei dell’Emilia-Romagna at Casa Romei.
On July 1, the cloisters of Casa Romei will be filled by music from the beginning of the 20th century thanks to the skilled Quatuor Mona, who will play Janáček’s Quartet no. 2 and Ravel’s Quartet.
On July 15, baroque music will be at the center of the stage with the Accademia Bizantina and Alessandro Tampieri playing the Four Seasons and other concerts for strings by Vivaldi.
The series will end on July 29, with a recital by pianist Giuseppe Albanese playing music by Franz Liszt, including the famous Dante Sonata.
On concert days the museum will be accessible until 10.30 pm.
Another peculiarity of this series is that two out of three concerts (Quatuor Mona and Giuseppe Albanese) are part of Musica con Vista, the summer festival organised by Comitato Amur with Le Dimore del Quartetto and Associazione Dimore Storiche Italiane.
See you at Casa Romei!
