Girolamo Frescobaldi, born in Ferrara on 13 September 1583, is considered one of the most important composers of the 17th century, known throughout the world for having revolutionised the history of keyboard music. For the fourth year in a row, we celebrate his birthday with our Frescobaldi Day!
