This year’s Christmas Concert will be on Thursday 14 December at 8:30pm at the Teatro Comunale di Ferrara.
The programme of the evening features the glorious Messiah by Haendel, performed by the Akademie Für Alte Musik Berlin and the Rias Kammerchor conducted by Justin Doyle.
Composed in 1741, this sacred oratorio tells the story of Jesus Christ combining the themes of Advent, Christmas and Easter into a single meditation.
